I am a writer with a background in science. I have a book (as yet unpublished) that was the outcome of studying psychology after studying geology, and getting hooked on Piaget in the process. I have also written some screenplays (no sales yet) and am leaning towards family-friendly material with a fantasy bent.

More about me

For fun, I like to explore new places and new cultures. Two of the most powerful experiences in my life involved crossing the country on the bus and starting over in a completely new environment: Ottawa to Vancouver in 1998 and Vancouver to Montreal in 2010.

I'm constantly fascinated by what makes people tick and how cultures work. My greatest passion as a child was mythology, and in a way, that's what I'm still studying. And learning to create now, as well.

I have been barefoot full time since July 9, 2009. I find it much easier to walk now (except on gravel, sharp stones and snow). I also eat paleo for health reasons and play with cold acclimatization because why not?

Born: Sarah Anne Robertson, December 25, 1964 (10:25 pm EST, approx.)

I was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. I have also lived in Edmonton, Calgary, Pembroke (Ontario), and Vancouver, worked in northern Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland in summer jobs, travelled almost the entire TransCanada highway at least once in each direction, and am currently living in Montreal.
